W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 will also supply the gearbox fitted with \u2018take-me-home\u2019 functionality, the controllable pitch propeller (CPP), the propulsion shaft lines including seals and bearings, the shaft generator, and W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4\u2019s ProTouch propulsion control system.<\/p>\n
The W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 31 has been recognised by Guinness World Records as being the world\u2019s most efficient 4-stroke diesel engine. Its output power has been increased to 5200 kW, thus enhancing its performance even further.<\/p>\n

The W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 equipment is scheduled for delivery to the yard during 2023, and the vessels are expected to be ready for delivery in 2024.<\/p>\n
